A Barefoot Run in NEW YORK CITY
The NYC Barefoot run took place this past Sunday. As I said in a previous post, I would love to have the opportunity to run with a group of barefoot runners. I only know about the existence of one other person who runs in Sandals and I have only seen 2 people running in Vibrams, so I don't imagine that a Barefoot Run will be happening in Johannesburg in the near future.

Don't bet on Johannesburg not going barefoot. This thing seems to be spreading. Two years ago my VFF's were a sensation, now I can spend a day on a busy trail and nobody even asks. I see a lot more barefoot runners too.
