I ran just over 8kms this morning on my usual Engen route. I like this route because it is flat and the tar is kind to my feet which works well for me on my Tuesday Recovery Run.
This is what my feet looked like immediately after my run:
A little dirty, but nothing that can’t be cleaned. (If it has been raining and the roads are wet, my feet don’t get as black as this.) I climb into the shower and rub my feet with an exfoliating sponge and some soap and they look pink and fresh! Occassionally I’ll use a pumice stone to get the back of my heals – not the underneath of my feet because this would take the skin off and I wouldn’t want that.
