So, as I said in my
previous post about The Comrades expo, I am very lucky to be able to go on opening day and then again on the Saturday.
Ian arrived late on the Friday night and we drove thru' to Durban to run the Northbeach parkrun. Ian and I took it slowly and enjoyed meeting up with other
Woodlands parkrunners.

We had a quick shower at Gramp's hotel (He got to spend the night at the Elangeni Hotel on the Durban beachfront after attending and being honoured at the
AIMS Congress Legends Dinner)

Then off to the expo again. This time the focus was on socialising and having a beer with fellow runners and supporters. I met Susan who kindly shared her GPS co-ordinates with me as we discussed good places to stop en-route.

An afternoon drive back to our flat in Umhlanga to collect our things for our overnight in Pietermaritzburg and a look thru' the goody bags. I think they were they same as they always are - a couple of sample sized products, a couple of advertising notes, a few usable items (my favourite is the wrist band to wear under my Garmin) and of course - the most important items, at least according to Ian, the cap and the t-shirt. I did also like the novelty coke can. Who is going to drink theirs?

And the fun and relaxation is over, now to run the race to qualify to wear the t-shirt and the cap.

Nice Staci! Did all of this get you tempted enough for next year?
